Our evening hostess and major sponsor Mrs. Marilyn Conneely and supporters of Handog Natin headed by no less than our Honorary Guest-of-Honor, The Lord Mayor of Coventry, Councilor Shabbir Ahmed and special guests Mr. Dip Donaldson of Coventry Crusaders, Mr. Roel Martin of American Life Insurance, Ms. Mayet Lingo of ABS-CBN and Mr. Rey Cruz of Virgins & Castle Pub & Restaurant gave the event prestige and honor.

Filipino and friends from Coventry, Kenilworth, Nuneaton, Rugby, Birmingham, Leamington Spa and Warwick came in their best outfits as talented and gorgeous dancers headed by Ms. Lovely Paronia entertained them with their very exciting numbers. Handog Natin's own Accoustic Band lead by Ms. Lhen Arrogante and Mr. Mark Yllana made soulful rendition of classic and modern selections whilst Hardy Boys Band delivered favorite OPMs together with our very own singing diva Ms. Jannette Manabat belting it out to the crowd's delight.

The night would have not been complete if not for the delicious "Pinoy" dishes catered by Tintin's Food and Catering and friends with special thanks to Mr. & Mrs. Oliver Pusong. Raffle prizes won were 3 course Meal for 2 courtesy of Virgins & Castle Pub, 3 months free subscriptions of TFC from ABS-CBN, DVD player from Mr. Roel Martin, coffee maker from Handog Natin, Balikbayan box from Ms. Catherine Casas and several Food Hampers from Marilyn's Sari-sari Store and more. The event was covered by our good friend and ABS-CBN correspondent Mr. Lloyd Cabang and was shown simultaneously in the Philippines (Channel 23) and TFC "Balitang Europe" of ABS-CBN on the following Sunday 6th May 2007. The proceeds of this event will be used to purchase computers and printer sets for Lalawan Elementary School in Bukidnon, Mindanao and Gawahon Elementary School in Negros in support of our Educational Assistance Programs. Maraming salamat po sa iyong lahat, mabuhay!
